Peg Bernhard brings together direct teaching and administrative experience in higher education. She has served as an instructor in the classroom, a grant writer in the office of research, and as an administrator in higher education. Her background includes expertise in leadership, innovative curriculum development, and dispute resolution. Currently, Peg is developing a conflict prevention module for future faculty. She has served most recently as Adjunct Instructor, College of Professional Studies, Marquette University. Prior appointments include an assistant professorship at Western Michigan University with instructional focus on health service, in particular substance abuse. Her administrative experience ranges from external relations (College of Business Administration, Marquette University) to Interim Vice Provost (Western Michigan University) with other roles overseeing academic programming and outreach and also overseeing the Michigan Institute for Human Resource Development.
Peg has consulted for the School of Public Affairs and Administration and also the College of Health and Human Services, Western Michigan University, and Value Behavioral Health in Southfield, Michigan.
